My Story
There aren't many things in life that can compare to the butterflies I felt when awaiting the challenge of stopping one-named players like Dirk, Carmelo, and Kobe after I retired.
It was the best (and worst) sensation imaginable. I was experiencing primal rivalry.
And it was something I looked forward to every day.
Now, the closest I get to having the amazing anxiety is when I realize I have to make a downhill left-to-right 6 footer for the $5 on the line against one-named guys like Zeder, Lobstah, and Dunk.
Although the stakes are lower, the sense of primitive rivalry remains powerful. And I'm a sucker for it.
I enjoy it when a fellow golfer assesses me and immediately dismisses me due to my bucket hat or lanky swing. It was the same kind of underestimation that my NBA brothers brought to our games because of my lack of athleticism. Nothing beats coming out on top when you're the underdog.
So go ahead and get this bucket hat! Take it to the competition to protect yourself from skin cancer (boo!).
In a Rolling Greens bucket hat, nothing beats winning the $5 Nassau.
